Chocolate Brownies

 100 g Unsalted Butter
 200 g Caster Sugar
 75 g Dark Muscavado Sugar
 150 g Dark Chocolate
 1 tbsp Golden Syrup
 2 Eggs
 100 g Plain Flour
 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder

Preheat the oven to 150ºc/gas 2. Line or grease and flour a tin approximately 18cm square

Melt together the butter, both sugars, dark chocolate and golden syrup. Cool the mixture.

Add the eggs. Sift and fold in the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.

Bake for 25 minutes or until the top is cracked and the middle just set. Leave to cool before lifting out and cutting.
